Official Festival Brewery – Shepherd Neame
We are delighted to be working with Shepherd Neame. Kent’s finest – and Britain’s oldest brewer for the 2019 Festival. As Official Brewery Partner, Shepherd Neame will be supporting the Festival across the whole of Whitstable, and we very much look forward to sampling the delights of their Whitstable Bay ale as the sun sets across the bay.
Festival Bars sponsor: Gin Mare
We are proud to introduce Gin Mare as this year’s Festival Bar sponsors.
Drinking Gin Mare will transport you to our coast at the height of summer. With its eternal blue sky, its characteristic scent of rosemary, basil and thyme, the sea breeze on your skin… Gin Mare is made using traditional techniques from the Mediterranean, through a delicate maceration and independent distillation which expresses all the characteristics of each botanical in the final product.
The Festival Stage with Big Drop Brewing Co.
We are really happy to welcome Big Drop Brewing Co. as sponsors for the 2019 Festival. The Festival Stage with Big Drop Brewing Co. will be hosting a broad range of fine musical performances across the weekend with Big Drop’s support helping to ensure that both local and established talent can appear at the Festival.
Harbor Stage with Anno Distillers
This wonderful Kent distillery will be bringing a special feature back to the 2019 Festival and we couldn’t be happier. Anno Distillers will be present at more than one location, so don’t miss getting a taste of the spirit of alchemy!
Festival Tonic: 1724
We are excited to be working with this very special tonic this year. The essence of 1724 Tonic Water has its origins in the Andes, on the mythical Inca Trail. This is not by chance. This is where quinine was discovered. There, this ingredient gains the authenticity of a product with roots in the region that go back hundreds of years. At 1724 metres above sea level. Not a metre above or below.
Landing of the Oysters event sponsor: Kent and Sussex Cottages
We are thrilled to introduce Kent and Sussex Cottage as the festival’s most anticipated event every year – the Landing of the Oysters.
From rural escapes to wonderful coastal retreats, Kent and Sussex Cottages have a number of superb cottages across Kent.
The Whitstable Oyster Fishery Company
Whitstable’s Oysters are world famous and have been for centuries. The Whitstable Oyster Fishery Company traces its roots back to 1793, but oysters have been a part of Whitstable’s history for far longer.
The Whitstable Oyster Festival celebrates the town’s iconic product. Only oysters grown by the Whitstable Oyster Fishery company on our famous beds have PGI (Protected Geographical Indicator) status which ensures their provenance and quality.
